Detailed Description: French presses, also known as coffee plungers, are used to create a smooth, pure coffee flavor. Add the amount of hot water you wish to make into the carafe, add your favorite ground coffee(must be coarse) into the water, then replace the lid and and plunger/strainer into the carafe. After a short period of brewing time, you will press down the plunger, allowing the fine mesh stainless steel screen to force the coffee grounds to the bottom of the carafe. Unit is constructed of stainless steel with a decorative finish and glass carafe. Holds 5 cups.
